For a rapidly expanding European import/export company in Mediterranean and Arab food specialties, located in the Nijmegen region, we are looking for an:
Accountmanager Mainstream Supermarkets Europe
They already have many specialized wholesalers and supermarkets throughout Europe as their clients. Quality, logistics, range expansion, service and advice are supported from an European network of hubs / joint ventures with partners.
The not specialized, midsized and large mainstream, supermarket chains need their dedicated attention, therefor they created this important position.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- In consultation with CCO, developing and implementing marketing and sales plans;
- Generating and activating new relevant contacts within supermarket chains in Europe;
- Advising customers, negotiating and closing deals;
- Maintaining and developing contracts and contacts all over Europe;
- Cooperating with and reporting to the CCO.
Requirements:
- An extensive international food-sales experience, preferable a vendor market network of supermarket groups;
- Bachelor/ Academic level;
- Knowledge of or affinity with Mediterranean and Arab food
- Strong personality with a passion for business development and sales;
- Language skills necessary: English. An advantage are: Dutch, German, French;
- Living or willing to relocate to the region Nijmegen, Cuijk, Venray.
