For a rapidly expanding European import/export company in Mediterranean and Arab food specialties, located in the Nijmegen region, we are looking for a:
Direct Shipment Coordinator
They already have many specialized wholesalers and supermarkets throughout Europe as their clients.
Quality, logistics, range expansion, service and advice are supported from an European network of hubs / joint ventures with partners.
Within the central organization there is a need for a direct shipment coordinator who acts as support and director of the activities through sales and purchasing.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Calculating and coordinating orders from customers for purchasing and logistics;
- Processing orders accepted by sales by telephone, email, webshop or from visiting customers;
- Preparing calculations/quotes;
- Check orders with stock and/or purchasing;
- Monitoring stock levels of the partners and joint ventures;
- Coordinate logistics.
Requirements:
- MBO/HBO level – preference for someone with a financial and/or commercial education;
- Preferably several years of experience.
- Languages required: Dutch, English and Arabic;
- Experience with ERP systems. SAP B1 is an advantage;
- Experience with Word and Excel;
- Knowledge of or affinity with Mediterranean and Arabic foods;
- Living in the Nijmegen region.
