For a rapidly expanding European import/export company in Mediterranean and Arab food specialties, located in the Nijmegen region, we are looking for a:
Financial Controller
They have many specialized wholesalers and supermarkets throughout Europe as their clients. Quality, logistics, range expansion, service and advice will be supported from an European network of hubs / joint ventures with partners. There is a need in the central organization for a financial controller as a CFO’s right hand.

Your role at the heart of our organization
As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for the financial management of our Dutch branch and you support management with insight into the results of the entire group. You will collaborate with colleagues and work with our subsidiaries in Romania and Sweden, and joint ventures in Germany and France – each with their own warehouse, sales, and administration.
Your responsibilities include:
- Monthly and weekly reports, P&L, and balance sheet reports for the Netherlands;
- The consolidated group results (shared monthly with management);
- Annual accounts and auditing the (interim) figures of our international entities;
- Margin reporting, cost analyses, and cash flow statements;
- Budgeting;
- Contributing to the financial structure, internal processes, and improvement of our reporting systems;
- Optional: Managing and mentoring the Dutch finance team.

- You preferably live in the region (within 15–20 km of our location);
